House Officers

Each residence hall is governed by elected student officers who enforce the policies and regulations of the college and work closely with the House Advisor, House Fellows, and House Intern to ensure the general welfare of the individual student and to promote a sense of community.

House President

The presidents preside over and schedule residence hall meetings. They also work with the other officers, House Advisor, and House Fellows to coordinate events and programs to benefit residents of the hall. House Presidents assist in the enforcement of the noise, smoking, and alcohol policies within the residence hall. They also work closely with the House Intern.

House Vice President

The vice presidents facilitate plans for social programs and events that the residence hall sponsors, including study breaks, all-campus parties, and house dinners.

House Treasurer

The treasurers assist the other House Officers with planning for events and are responsible for the residence hall budget.

House Secretary

The secretaries work with the House Advisor to assess damages that occur in the residence hall and encourage students to work toward lowering the number of incidents of vandalism.
