Intersession Housing Policies
Intersession housing is for students in need of a room during the Winter and Spring Break. Intersession housing is located in Noyes House each year. This location proves to be the most convenient because of its number of kitchenettes, size and its energy efficiency. Priority for intersession housing approval is given to International students, athletes, intersession employees and finally others decided by committee choice.
Academics (completing thesis, incomplete course work, etc.) are not considered a need. Applications for Intersession housing are available on the Office of Residential Life Home page approximately six weeks before the break takes place. Applications must be submitted before the deadline to be considered for housing. All applicants will ONLY be notified by e-mail.
Please Note:
Intersession residents are to be considered guests of the regular term residents of Noyes House. Intersession residents are responsible for providing their own bedding and food. Property of the regular term resident is not to be used unless permission from that resident is granted.
Inspections:
Although the Office of Residential Life completes inspections for Noyes House at the beginning of each intersession and the day before it ends, it is the responsibility of the regular term resident to inspect their room immediately upon their return to report any damages that may have occurred during their absence.
