Summer and Intersession Housing

Summer Housing

Housing is available for a small number of students over the summer, and is limited to students who are participating in URSI (Undergraduate Research Science Institute) or the Ford Scholars program or who are employed fulll time on campus. Applications are available in the Office of Residential Life and the Student Employment Office. (Note: few singles are available.)

Intersession Housing

Intersession housing is for students in need of a room during the Winter and Spring Break. Intersession housing is located in Noyes House each year. This location is the most convenient because of the number of kitchenettes, its size, and its energy efficiency. Priority for intersession housing is given to international students, athletes, intersession employees, and, finally, others. Approval is given by committee.

Academic concerns (i.e., incomplete course work, senior thesis, etc.) are not considered a valid basis for a request for intersession housing.

Intersession residents are considered guests of the regular term residents of Noyes house. Intersession residents are responsible for providing their own bedding and food. Property of the regular term resident in not to be used unless permission from that resident is granted.

Application

Applications are available on the Office of Residential Life web site approximately six weeks before the breaks take place. Applications must be completed and returned by the deadline to be considered. All applicants will ONLY be notified by email.
