Wellness Corridors
Wellness Corridor residents subscribe to the policies outlined below. It is the responsibility of each resident on the corridor to enforce and inform any guests who are visiting of these policies. Any violation (including violations by students from other corridors as well as guests from off campus) jeopardizes a personÕs privilege to live on the corridor.
Wellness Corridor Policies
Substances
No illegal substances, including alcohol, are permitted in the corridor, bathrooms, or individual rooms, at any time.
Smoking
No smoking of any sort is permitted in any area of the residence halls.
Noise
Defined as Òcommon courtesy.Ó No noise should be heard outside a student room when the door is closed. If someone asks another student to lower the music, he/she must comply with the request. If the student is asked more than twice to lower the volume, housing on the corridor will be jeopardized for that student.
Pet Policy
There are to be no fur-bearing or dander producing pets allowed in the wellness corridors. Fish are allowed.
Quiet Corridors
A 24-hour noise code is enforced in all quiet corridors. As a result, no registered parties are permitted in quiet corridors.
Note: If you violate any aspect of the wellness contract at any point during the year, the Office of Residential Life will place you in an alternative room at their discretion.
Space is limited on Wellness Corridors, but the Office of Residential Life tries to accommodate those who apply to the best of their ability.
